Very much worth it, really no hit in fps..very small,I think the biggest was due to the ship. Cockpit FPS sometimes -3 to -5 of my locked in at 33 its more what your flying over than anything and if you have weather engine running.
Tail hook worked,had to go to the rear of the ship, full thrust and made a run at it and got off the deck.
have not read the book on the systems yet so I can't tell you a lot about that yet, no cockpit shots yet give me awhile..just a quick flight for now but... WOW






I think Dino talked about the shaking in the cockpit does not happen in the air and I'm not bothered by it on the ground.

Looks nice!  It does have a tailhook (since it's a Air Force/military aircraft), but it's not the F-35C (carrier based) version .

FPS locked at 33 around lincoln KLKN lost about 7 to 10 fps avg maybe 24, if I go unlimted I get stuttering.
Going to have to tune this in..weather,autogen and the like..to get the FPS I like, still at 24 to 25 smooth on my system just not high numbers. so it will have an impact on frames if someone is thinking of buying.. as Dino stated.

ok turned down traffic to 52,I have trafficx, locked frames at 41 now frames at avg of 35,cockpit still a good hit around 25 but if I'm going to fly this plane...I can easily live with these settings. 

now to wait for Dino's updates

Just had a flight with it, and overall, I quite like it.  Has a beautiful VC, I'd say the best Dino's done so far .

Aside the low speed/stationary shaking and a few minor things that bug me, it's quite good.  Seemed to drop about 5 to 15 FPS while using it, though.

All the UTX roads?  I'd at the least have kept major roads and freeways.

Went for a flight around Oahu on a different computer and the F-35's just brilliant.  Great plane.  Personally, I don't think the exterior is as good as the VC, but I'm sure it's nothing a few good repaints can fix.  Now back to writing that review...

What are your FPS in San Francisco...one of the cities I go to to test new planes I buy and with major roads and freeways on my system takes a good hit there.

with the L39 don't worry about a thing I can have major roads and freeways on and all the night lighting on and don't think twice about frames or an AI traffic hit on frames..but with the F35 this is whats working best for me.
